Description

The ABB PM5052-T-ETH Processor Module is a high-performance component for industrial control systems, featuring integrated on-board I/O with specialized functionality for diverse automation tasks. It supports 12 digital inputs with capabilities including encoder interfacing, fast counting, standard counting, and interrupt handling. Included are 6 fast 24V DC digital inputs with a maximum 5 kHz speed, which can also operate as standard 24V DC digital inputs. The module is equipped with 2-channel 5 kHz encoders with frequency measurement functionality, and can be configured with standard digital inputs or touch/reset functions as needed.

For environmental resilience, the module has variable operating temperature ranges: 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius when mounted horizontally, and -20 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius when mounted vertically. Between 60 degrees Celsius and 70 degrees Celsius, I/O channels must be derated to 75% capacity. Storage and transportation temperature ranges are -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. It operates in humidity up to 95% without condensation, with an operating air pressure requirement of above 800 hPa (below 2000 meters) and storage air pressure above 660 hPa (below 3500 meters). This module is designed for reliable operation in demanding industrial control environments, supporting precise and flexible automation workflows.
