Description

The ABB PM5072-T-2ETHW Processor Module is a semiconductor module designed for industrial control applications, part of the AC500-eCo V3 processor series with integrated on-board I/O. Key technical specifications include 6 digital inputs (DI) with versatile functions such as encoder, fast counter, counter, and interrupt support. All 6 DIs are 24V DC units: 6 fast input DIs support up to 5kHz, and can also be used as standard 24V DC DIs. The module also features 2 channels of 5kHz encoders with frequency measurement capability, which can be paired with standard DIs or touch/reset functions. For output performance, the module offers fast output channels with PTO pulse/direction functionality; the revision 1 (R017x) model supports up to 4 channels with a maximum frequency of 200kHz, while the R007x revision supports up to 100kHz. Revision 1 is compatible with AB software version 2.6.0 and above, which automatically identifies the installed processor module to optimize functionality.
