Description

The ABB PM582 Processor Module is a CPU unit belonging to the ABB AC500 series PLC system. It features core technical specifications including 512kB program memory, a 24-230V operating voltage range, and certifications such as CE, BV, and GL. Equipped with 2x configurable RS232/RS485 ports (COM1 and COM2) and an FBP interface, the module delivers robust communication capabilities: COM1 supports programming, CS31 master station, Modbus master/slave, and ASCII functions, while COM2 supports programming, Modbus master/slave, and ASCII functions, with both ports allowing RS232/RS485 mode switching.
