Description

The ABB REF615C_C Integrated Relay Protection is a dedicated feeder protection and control relay designed for utility and industrial power distribution systems. It provides comprehensive protection, control, measurement, and monitoring for overhead lines and cable feeders, suitable for radial, loop, and mesh distribution networks with or without distributed generation. It serves as primary protection for distribution network overhead lines and feeders, and can also function as backup protection in independent or redundant protection systems. This device supports a wide range of communication protocols, including IEC 61850 version 2, process bus based on IEC 61850-9-2 LE, IEC 60870-5-103, and Modbus; it can also support Profibus DVP1 communication via the SPA-ZC 302 protocol converter. Key protection features include directional and non-directional overcurrent and earth fault protection, overvoltage, undervoltage, zero-sequence voltage protection, thermal overload protection, sensitive earth fault protection, and intermittent earth fault protection.
