Description

The ABB SA801F Power Module is a dedicated power supply component designed for the ABB Advant AC800F series controllers, delivering stable, reliable power to support industrial automation and process control systems. It features a wide input voltage range of 115-230VAC with EMC filtering, operating at 50-60 Hz (47-63 Hz) to adapt to different grid standards while suppressing electromagnetic interference. At rated load, it draws 210 mA at 230VAC and 411 mA at 115VAC.

With a total output power of 26.5W, the module provides regulated outputs of 3.3VDC ±3% and 5.0VDC ±3%, sufficient to power the controller CPU board and connected modules in E1, E2, F1 to F4 slots. Built with advanced power electronics, it offers robust protection functions including short-circuit protection, overload protection, and real-time input/output voltage monitoring, plus a 20ms hold-up time during power failures to prevent unexpected system shutdowns.
