The ABB TAS01 Turbine Auto Sync Module is a specialized synchronization sub-module designed for the ABB Symphony distributed control system, widely applied in power industry scenarios. Key technical features include dual-loop redundant measurement, which performs independent dual-channel sampling of voltage, frequency, and phase difference with an error rate of less than 0.1%. It integrates intelligent algorithm compensation, built-in blocking logic for frequency difference, voltage difference, and angular acceleration to ensure the phase angle difference approaches zero at the moment of closing. The module offers strong protocol compatibility, enabling seamless connection with ABB 800xA, Symphony Plus and other DCS systems, and supports Modbus/TCP and IEC 61850 protocols. In practical applications, it adapts to mainstream turbine speed control systems including ABB, Siemens, and GE for thermal power plant turbine grid connection, delivering a 100ms-level synchronization response.
