Description

The Allen-Bradley 1407-CGCM Combination Generator Control Module (Version C) is an RTD/resistance input module designed for generator control applications. Powered by the expansion bus of MicroLogix 1200 series PLCs, it requires no additional external power supply, simplifying installation and power management. With compact dimensions of 90mm x 40mm x 87mm (3.54in x 1.58in x 3.43in) and a weight of approximately 260g, it supports flexible DIN rail or panel mounting and can be conveniently installed to the right of the controller. Equipped with 4 input channels, the module is compatible with both RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) and resistance sensors, supporting a wide range of RTD types including platinum (385 and 3916), copper (426), nickel (672 and 618), and nickel-iron (518). Its integrated design and broad sensor compatibility make it suitable for precise temperature and resistance monitoring in generator control systems, providing reliable data input for PLC-based control architectures.
