Allen-Bradley 1747-M11 SLC 500 Flash Memory Module
Description
The Allen-Bradley 1747-M11 SLC 500 Flash Memory Module is a flash EEPROM memory component designed for SLC 500 control systems, primarily used to store and back up PLC application programs. It provides 32KB of user memory backup and is compatible with SLC 5/03, 5/04, and 5/05 processors, including specific models: 1747-L532, 1747-L541, 1747-L542, and 1747-L543 SLC processors. Note that it is not compatible with 1746-BAS and 1746-BAST modules.
Series-specific compatibility rules apply: 1747-M11 Series A modules can only be installed in SLC 5/03 Series A or B processors, while 1747-M11 Series B modules are restricted to SLC 5/03 OS302, SLC 5/04 OS401, and SLC 5/05 processors. To install the 1747-M11 into a user-provided PROM programmer, a 1747-M15 memory module adapter is required. As a non-volatile flash EEPROM, it retains stored program and data content even when power is lost, ensuring reliable data preservation and allowing for repeated erasure and rewriting for program updates.
