Allen-Bradley 1756-DHRIO DH+/RIO Bridge/Scanner Module
Description
The Allen-Bradley 1756-DHRIO DH+/RIO Bridge/Scanner Module is a ControlLogix Data Highway Plus/Remote I/O communication interface module designed for industrial automation networks. It supports multiple key communication protocols, including Data Highway Plus (DH+) messaging, Control and Information Protocol (CIP) messaging, and Remote I/O communication, enabling seamless data exchange between devices such as PLC, SLC, and ControlLogix controllers, as well as across different networked equipment. Equipped with two communication channels, it offers adjustable communication speeds of 57.6Kbps, 115.2Kbps, and 230.4Kbps, with the specific rate dependent on cable length, and can route messages across up to three chassis and four communication networks. For connectivity, it supports a maximum of 32 Logix connections; each Remote I/O channel allows 32 logical rack connections and 16 block transfer connections, while each DH+ channel can handle up to 32 DH+ messages. Operating within a temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius (compliant with IEC 60068-2-1, IEC 60068-2-2, and IEC 60068-2-14 standards), it runs on 24V DC power, delivering reliable performance for bridging and scanning tasks in demanding industrial control environments.
