Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L32E CompactLogix EtherNet Processor is a high-performance programmable automation controller (PAC) belonging to the CompactLogix platform, designed for machine control and medium-scale process applications including automated production lines, mechanical equipment, and energy management systems. Powered by a 32-bit PowerPC 603e processor, it delivers fast execution of control instructions, with integrated 750KB user storage that can be expanded via 1784-CF64 or 1784-CF128 CompactFlash cards to accommodate larger control programs and data. Equipped with 1 EtherNet/IP port and 1 RS232 port, it supports flexible communication: the RS232 port defaults to DF1 full-duplex at 19.2Kbps with no parity, station address 0, and can be manually or auto-configured via RSLinx, or set to ASCII protocol; the Ethernet port uses BOOTP-DHCP or RS232 for initial setup. It offers scalable I/O capacity, supporting up to 16 Compact I/O modules and up to 3 I/O groups via extension cables to meet diverse input/output needs. With a wide operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, storage temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, 0 to 95% non-condensing humidity tolerance, and 5G vibration resistance during operation, it adapts to harsh industrial environments. It supports DIN or panel mounting and uses RSLogix 5000 programming software, providing versatile control capabilities for discrete devices (motors, valves, relays), analog variables (temperature, pressure, flow), and simple motion control for servo and stepper motors.
