Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ER CompactLogix 5370 L3 Ethernet Processor Module is a compact programmable automation controller designed for medium-scale industrial automation applications. It features a high-integration design, flexible expandability, and robust network communication capabilities. Powered by the Logix control engine, it supports IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages, enabling execution of logic control programs for logic operations, sequential control, data processing, motion control, and communication management.

Equipped with a 32-bit PowerPC or ARM Cortex-M7 core running at 1 GHz, it delivers a typical Boolean instruction execution speed of 0.22 microseconds per instruction, meeting high real-time performance requirements. It has 2 MB program memory, 2 MB data memory, and an integrated non-volatile memory card interface with 1 GB initial capacity, expandable to 2 GB, supporting battery-backed RAM for data retention during power loss.

For connectivity, it includes 1 dual-port 10/100 Mbps EtherNet/IP RJ45 interface and 1 USB port, supporting EtherNet/IP, CIP Sync, and CIP Motion protocols. It supports Device Level Ring (DLR) linear, star, and ring topologies for enhanced network reliability, and can connect up to 32 Ethernet nodes, enabling seamless integration with HMIs, drives, I/O modules, SCADA systems, and enterprise IT networks.

The module supports up to 16 local I/O modules and 3 I/O expansion groups, with electrical specifications including 85-265 V AC 50/60 Hz input, 4.5 W maximum power consumption, 500 mA backplane current draw at 5 V DC, and 30 V maximum bus insulation. It operates in temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius, with an IP20 protection rating, suitable for use in steel plants, power plants, cement plants, automotive manufacturing, and other harsh industrial environments.
