Allen-Bradley 1794-IV32 Flex I/O Input Module
Description
The Allen-Bradley 1794-IB32 Flex I/O DC Digital Input Module is a distributed I/O component belonging to the Flex I/O product line, designed as an input interface to integrate a wide range of field instruments and electrical devices into automated control systems. It is a 32-channel sink input module, capable of accommodating up to 32 DC input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, proximity sensors, float switches, process switches, relay contacts, and contactor auxiliary contacts. Key electrical specifications include a nominal signal level of 24VDC, a minimum channel turn-on voltage of 19.2VDC, and a maximum turn-on voltage of 31.2VDC.
This high-density module features individual LED indicators for each of the 32 channels, which activate upon receiving a signal and turn off when no signal is present, enabling quick status monitoring and fault identification. It is compatible with multiple Flex I/O communication adapters including Ethernet, ControlNet, and Remote I/O, with no limit on installation instances when following proper mounting guidelines. The module pairs with 1794-TB32, 1794-TB32S, 1794-TB62DS, and 1794-TB62EXD4X15 terminal bases, supporting hot insertion and removal. It operates in temperatures ranging from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, with vibration resistance up to 500G and shock resistance of 30/50G for reliable performance in industrial environments.
