Description

The Allen-Bradley 1794-TBN Terminal Base Unit is a component of the Flex I/O system, designed to provide terminal connection points for I/O wiring and form a dedicated backplane. It supports up to 16 I/O connections, with 18 common terminals and 18 voltage terminals for flexible wiring configurations. Rated for applications with 125V AC/DC electrical specifications, it has a maximum current capacity of 10A, and is compatible with 0.21 x 1.3 mm2 (24-16 AWG) stranded copper wire for input and output modules. The unit features a flexible bus rating of 640V DC at 5mA, and can deliver 2A of current to I/O terminals, with V/COM terminals rated for 125V DC/AC and 10A at 50-60Hz. It provides 125V continuous voltage isolation between field wiring terminals and the FLEXBUS via basic insulation, with a recommended terminal screw torque range of 0.56 to 0.79 Nm (5 to 7 lb-in).
