Allen-Bradley 20-750-20COMM Communication Carrier Card
Description
The Allen-Bradley 20-750-20COMM Communication Carrier Card is a variable frequency drive (VFD) communication module designed to enable seamless data transmission between VFDs and other control systems or equipment. It supports a working voltage of 220V, operates in conjunction with VFDs at frequencies such as 50Hz, and meets international safety and performance standards including UL certification. Its operating environment ranges from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, ensuring reliable function in typical industrial settings. Key features include an integrated PID controller that automatically adjusts output frequency to regulate process variables, and programmable skip frequency segments that prevent continuous operation at resonant frequencies to avoid mechanical damage. Optimized for centrifugal fan and pump loads, it offers a fan/pump curve reduced voltage mode to enhance energy efficiency. Additional capabilities include a sleep function that shuts down equipment when system demand drops below preset levels and restarts it when demand rises, an auto-restart function for unattended operations that resumes VFD operation after power restoration, and emergency safety system connectivity with dedicated inputs for Freeze/Fire and Purge functions to interface directly with fire protection and other critical safety systems.
