Description

TheTriconex 3721N Analog Input Moduleis designed to providehigh-accuracy analog signal acquisitioninsafety-critical environments. It captures data from field instruments-such as temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, and flow meters-and converts these signals into digital form for processing within Triconex control logic and diagnostic routines. Moreover, the 3721N supportsmultiple signal types, including0-10 V,±10 V,4-20 mA, and±20 mA, withconfigurable resolution up to 16 bits. Each channel featurescomplete electrical isolation, protecting against noise, surges, and ground loops. The module is fully compatible withTriple Modular Redundancy (TMR)architectures, providingfault toleranceandcontinuous operationeven under hardware failure conditions. In addition, it offersconfigurable sampling rates up to 10 kHz,channel-to-channel isolation, and seamless integration with theTriStation 1131programming environment.
