BENTLY NEVADA | 176449-02 | 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 176449-02 | 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor is a four-channel modular monitoring device designed to accept input from both proximity and seismic sensors. Key features include paired channel configuration, allowing it to run up to two designated functions simultaneously, and real-time comparison of monitored parameters against user-programmable alarm setpoints to trigger alerts, protecting machinery and relaying critical machine data to operations and maintenance staff.
Technical specifications include a vibration measurement range of ±20g, sensitivity of 10mV/g, and a frequency response range of 5Hz to 10kHz. It offers a resolution of ±0.1% accuracy, down to 0.1 micro meters, with an operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, 24V DC input voltage, and multiple output signal types including voltage and current. The unit has an IP67 protection rating, dimensions of 220mm x 170mm x 55mm, and weighs approximately 5kg.
Each channel is equipped with an independent amplifier and sampling circuit, operating at a 1kHz sampling rate. Programmable via 3500 rack configuration software, it can monitor and report parameters such as radial vibration, thrust position, REBAM, acceleration, differential expansion, eccentricity, and velocity. Ideal for protecting rotating machinery like turbines, generators, and compressors, it also features status LEDs for operation, communication, and bypass mode, plus short-circuit protected buffered sensor outputs with 550 ohm impedance.
