Description

Bently Nevada 286566-02 Tachometer Module is a specialized speed monitoring component designed for industrial rotational speed tracking. This module accepts one or two eddy current or magnetic sensor signals, with an input signal range of +10.0V to -24.0V; signals outside this range are internally limited. It offers three configurable input impedance options: 20k ohms (standard), 40k ohms (triple module redundancy), and 7.15k ohms (internal safety barrier), with a typical power consumption of 5.8W. It is compatible with a range of Bently Nevada sensors, including 3300 5mm, 8mm, and 16mm HTPS eddy current sensors, 7200 5mm, 8mm, 11mm, and 14mm eddy current sensors, 3300RAM eddy current sensors, and magnetic sensors. Note that its analog proportional output is exclusively for data collection, chart recording, or display, and does not provide protective redundancy or response speed for speed control or overspeed protection systems. Speed warning setpoints are only for notification purposes, not for protective control functions.
