BENTLY NEVADA 330500-02-00 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor is a piezoelectric-based velocity sensor designed for industrial vibration monitoring. It utilizes piezoelectric crystal technology with an integrated circuit embedded in an accelerometer, converting vibration acceleration into velocity signals for output; its solid-state design has no moving parts, eliminating mechanical wear and degradation. This sensor offers flexible installation, supporting vertical, horizontal, or angled mounting without special calibration requirements. As a general-purpose velocity sensor, it operates within a frequency range of 4.5Hz to 5kHz (±3dB) with a sensitivity of 3.94mV/mm/s (100mV/in/s) ±5%. Part of the Velomitor product line, it has enhanced variants: the 330525 Velomitor XA meets NEMA 4X/IP65 protection ratings for use in high-temperature or corrosive environments, while the 330750/330752 high-temperature series is engineered for extreme heat applications like gas turbines. The sensor is used to measure absolute vibration (relative to free space) of bearing housings, machine enclosures, or structural components, with typical applications including condition monitoring of rolling bearing equipment such as pumps and fans, and gear mesh frequency monitoring when paired with an accelerometer. Note that it may not fully reflect rotor imbalance or misalignment faults, requiring measurement validity assessment for such scenarios.
