Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330525-00 Velomitor XA Piezo-Velocity Sensor is an enhanced environmental protection version of the 330500 Velomitor series. It meets NEMA 4X and IP65 protection standards without requiring an external protective enclosure, delivering reliable performance in harsh conditions including high temperature or corrosive environments. Its mounting bolt features pipe thread design, eliminating the need for the sensor base to be flush with the equipment housing and removing requirements for surface preparation, which reduces overall installation costs compared to conventional velocity sensors.
Utilizing piezoelectric crystal technology, the sensor integrates an integral circuit within its accelerometer to convert vibration acceleration into velocity signals for output. It has no moving parts, preventing mechanical wear and extending service life. The sensor supports vertical, horizontal, or angled installation with no special calibration required. It shares core performance parameters with the base 330500 model, including a frequency range of 4.5Hz to 5kHz (±3dB) and a sensitivity of 3.94mV/mm/s (100mV/in/s) ±5%. Ideal for condition monitoring of rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, and other industrial machinery, it measures absolute vibration of bearing housings, enclosures, or structures relative to free space.
