BENTLY NEVADA 330901-00-10-10-02-05 3300 XL NSv Proximity Probe
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330901-00-10-10-02-05 3300 XL NSv Proximity Probe is an eddy current proximity sensor from the 3300 XL NSv series, designed for precision vibration and displacement monitoring of rotating machinery. It features a core sensitivity of 7.87 mV/μm (200 mV/mil) ± 6.5%, ensuring accurate detection of mechanical movement. Models with the -05 suffix hold explosion-proof certification, making them suitable for use in hazardous chemical environments requiring explosion protection.
This compact probe is engineered for installation in tight spaces, such as narrow areas of centrifugal air compressors, and works as part of a complete sensor system when paired with 3300 XL NSv proximitors and compatible extension cables. Available extension cable lengths include 5 meters and 7 meters, with total system length equal to the sum of probe and cable lengths; cables typically connect to 990 vibration transmitters, 991 displacement transmitters, or 330980 proximitors.
Vibration signals from the probe are transmitted via 4-20mA output to PLC or DCS systems using monitors like the 990/991, 2300/20, or 1900/65. It is widely applied in industries including steel, power, metallurgy, chemical, and petrochemical, for monitoring equipment such as centrifugal air compressors, small water pumps, motors, and fans. The probe’s robust design and reliable performance support continuous, real-time monitoring of critical machinery to prevent unplanned downtime.
