BENTLY NEVADA 330980-70-00 NSv Proximity Sensor is a high-performance proximity sensor belonging to the 3300 NSv product series. It features a power-on soft-start function: after power is connected, the output signal remains below 3.6 mA for 2 to 3 seconds. Its output is compatible with ungrounded portable test equipment; when using grounded, AC-powered test equipment, the 122115-01 test adapter is required for signal isolation. The sensor has a sensitivity of 7.87 mV/micro (200 mV/mil) ± 6.5%, ensuring accurate vibration measurement. Models with suffixes -05 or -CN are certified for explosion protection, making them suitable for explosive chemical environments. This sensor is designed for vibration monitoring of rotating machinery including centrifugal air compressors, small water pumps, motors, and fans, and is widely applied in industries such as steel, power, metallurgy, chemical, and petrochemical. It can be paired with series probes like the 330901 (1/4-28 UNF thread, unarmored), 330902 (1/4-28 UNF thread, armored), 330908 (3/8-24 UNF thread, unarmored), and 330909 (3/8-24 UNF thread, armored) to form a complete monitoring system.
