Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/05-02-04-00-00-00 System Rack is part of the 3500 series machinery condition monitoring system, and shares core functionality with comparable 3500/05 series racks. As a dedicated system rack, it is designed to house up to 3500 monitoring modules in close proximity, facilitating seamless inter-module communication and centralized power distribution for connected components. It integrates internal safety barriers, requiring a 3500/04-01 internal safety barrier grounding module for IS grounding connections, which occupies a dedicated rack slot. Note that the 3500/93 System Display A01 System Face Mount option is incompatible with 3500/05 compact racks.

As part of the 3500 series platform, it supports high integration and fault tolerance, with configurable redundancy levels ranging from single modules to full TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) setups, making it suitable for safety-critical applications where false or missed trips due to electronic failure or human error are unacceptable. It works with complementary 3500 series components, including rack interface modules (RIM) for system configuration and data retrieval, and supports external communication processors. The rack is optimized to reduce installation space and streamline wiring, with options for both traditional internal terminal connections and innovative external terminal blocks that simplify field wiring and reduce back-panel congestion.
