BENTLY NEVADA 3500/20 125744-02 Rack Interface Module
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/20 125744-02 Rack Interface Module (RIM) is a core component of the Bently Nevada 3500 series monitoring system, serving as the primary interface for 3500 racks. Key functions include configuring the entire rack, retrieving mechanical operating data, and communicating with external Bently Nevada communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. It must be installed in rack slot 1 near the power supply, and each 3500 rack requires one unit; a TMR (Triple Module Redundancy) version is available for redundant applications, adding a “monitor channel comparison” feature to enhance system reliability.
Technical specifications include a typical power consumption of 4.75 watts, with communication interfaces supporting RS232 serial communication at 38.4k baud, and internal modem communication with a maximum rate of 38.4k baud and standard rate of 14.4k baud. I/O modules follow RS232/RS422 serial communication standards. Operating temperature ranges from 30 to 65 degrees Celsius, storage temperature from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, and it can withstand 95% humidity without condensation. Its compact, modular design enables easy installation and maintenance, and it supports cable connections up to 30 meters. This module is designed for industrial machinery condition monitoring applications, facilitating efficient rack communication and data exchange to support system configuration and data management.
