Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/25 126648-01 Keyphasor I/O Module is an enhanced half-height, two-channel module designed for the 3500 machinery protection system rack. Its core function is to receive Keyphasor input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups, detecting alignment between shaft-mounted Keyphasor marks and sensors, then converting analog input signals to digital Keyphasor signals for transmission to monitor modules in the 3500 rack. This module supports flexible system configurations: in normal setups, the 3500 system can accept up to four Keyphasor signals, while paired configurations (installed in upper/lower half-slots or consecutive half-slot monitoring positions) allow up to eight signals. Configurations with three modules (two coupled, one unpaired) are also supported, with four modules providing four output channels, four primary input channels, and four backup input channels (one per module). Key technical specifications include a typical power consumption of 3.2 watts; input signal ranges of +0.8V to -21.0V for non-isolated I/O modules and +5V to -11V for isolated I/O modules; two buffered Keyphasor outputs with a maximum output impedance of 504 ohms; and a maximum per-channel power supply of -24 VDC, 40 mA. The module enables measurement of shaft speed and vector characteristics such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase via 3500 monitor modules and external diagnostic tools.
