BENTLY NEVADA 74712-06-05-03-00 High Temperature Velocity Seismoprobe is a high-temperature, two-wire velocity transducer belonging to the Bently Nevada Seismoprobe series, and it is the high-temperature variant of the 9200 series transducer. Designed to measure absolute vibration (relative to free space) of bearing housings, casings, or industrial structures, it uses moving coil technology in a two-wire configuration, delivering a voltage output directly proportional to the vibration velocity of the measured surface.

Key features include lower sensitivity to shock or pulse excitation compared to solid-state velocity sensors, which are integrating accelerometers with embedded electronics, making it a reliable choice for high-impact industrial environments. It requires no external power supply, enabling convenient use in portable measurement applications, and is suitable for both continuous vibration monitoring and periodic measurements with test or diagnostic instruments.

Standard specifications, measured at 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) with 25 mm/s (1 in/s) casing vibration, 100 Hz (6000 cpm) frequency, and 10 kΩ load, define its core performance metrics. The transducer can be connected to other instruments or optional velocity-to-displacement converters via a range of interconnection cables, available in various lengths with or without stainless steel armor, and features a replaceable collet for easy maintenance when the moving coil wears.
