Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 86517-01-01-01-02 Accelerometer Interface Module is a core component of accelerometer-based sensor systems, designed specifically for vibration monitoring in aerospace gas generators and gas turbines. It is engineered to pair seamlessly with the Bently Nevada 3300 Series 3300/95 Filter Module/Vibration Monitor, and is also compatible with specially modified 3300 series monitors including the 3300/15 and 3300/25. The module accepts differential inputs from piezoelectric accelerometers with a sensitivity of 50 pC/g pk or 100 pC/g pk, and requires paired accelerometers to feature a separated piezoelectric crystal design that delivers differential output, along with the required connector type. As part of a complete accelerometer sensor system, it works alongside high-temperature charge-coupled accelerometers and rugged, low-noise high-temperature extension cables; the total capacitance of the accelerometer plus distributed cable capacitance must not exceed 8300 picofarads. The extension cables feature specialized conductive surface treatment between conductors, dielectric, and shielding to minimize triboelectric noise caused by cable movement or vibration, a critical feature for reliable charge amplifier system performance in harsh industrial and aerospace environments.
