Description

The Bently Nevada 991-01-XX-01-00 Vibration Transmitter is a specialized device designed for machine shaft vibration monitoring, ideal for use with rotating equipment including centrifugal air compressors, fans, small water pumps, and electric motors. As a two-wire loop-powered unit, it integrates a preamplifier, eliminating the need for external signal conditioning devices. It accepts input signals from Bently 3300 XL NSv proximity probes and their matching extension cables, with 5-meter and 7-meter system length options available.

This transmitter converts detected vibration signals into proportional 4 to 20mA industrial standard signals, which can be fed to PLC or DCS control systems for equipment protection, alarm triggering, and logic control. It adjusts input signals to corresponding vibration peak units before scaling them to the 4-20mA output, delivering reliable data for continuous condition monitoring. Additionally, non-isolated “PROX OUT” and “COM” terminals paired with a coaxial connector provide dynamic vibration and gap voltage signals to support fault diagnosis. It is suitable for integration with DCS systems, offering a compact, efficient solution for critical machinery vibration monitoring applications.
