BENTLY NEVADA 991-25-70-01-CN Thrust Transmitter
Description
BENTLY NEVADA 991-25-70-01-CN Thrust Transmitter is a 2-wire loop-powered sensing device designed for smaller, non-critical mechanical equipment. It is primarily engineered for centrifugal air compressors with fluid film thrust bearings, and also supports machine shaft vibration and thrust position monitoring for other equipment including fans, small water pumps, and electric motors. The transmitter accepts input from one non-contact 3300 NSv proximity probe and matching extension cable, with optional system lengths of 5 meters and 7 meters. It operates on a +12 to +35 Vdc input signal supplied via the 2-wire loop, and delivers a 4-20 mAdc output signal proportional to thrust position, which can be integrated into control systems for mechanical protection alarms and logic. Key technical specifications include a maximum loop resistance of 1,000 ohms (including cable at 35 Vdc), a typical current limit of 23 mA, and an accuracy of ±1.5% within the specified full range. It can measure total thrust movement up to 1.2 millimeters or 50 mils, providing reliable, industry-standard thrust position data for industrial automation monitoring applications.
