Description

The BENTLY NEVADA TK3-2E Proximity System Test Kit, also called a “frequency swing signal generator,” is a portable industrial calibration instrument designed for static and dynamic calibration of eddy current probes. Key features include a compact, lightweight design for easy portability, and a universal mounting interface that accommodates eddy current probes with diameters from 5 mm to 19 mm, eliminating the need for multiple adapters. Static calibration is performed using an attached spindle micrometer, which adjusts the target surface in calibrated increments toward or away from the probe tip to check sensor systems and calibrate displacement monitors. Dynamic calibration relies on a special rotating “tilt disc” that simulates dynamic mechanical vibration. The kit can simulate shaft vibration and displacement to calibrate monitors, verify the operational status of monitor reading devices, and validate the condition of eddy current sensor systems. Note that due to advancements in sensor technology and stricter performance standards, this system cannot provide the precision required to calibrate sensor systems to API670 standards. It has an IP67 protection rating, operates at 220V, and is available with part numbers including 177313-02-01 and 177313-02-02.
