The B&R X20IF371 CANopen PLC Gateway is a TUV-certified industrial communication device designed for high-speed, multi-node communication in industrial networks, part of the compact, high-performance B&R X20 System. As a member of the X20 product family, it inherits the system’s ultra-compact footprint: the full X20 PLC system, including power supply, measures only 37.5 mm wide, making it one of the most compact solutions in its class. This gateway supports complete CANopen master functionality, adhering to core standards including DS301 and DS302, and can manage up to 127 CANopen slave nodes. It enables critical communication functions such as NMT (Network Management), accelerated SDO (Service Data Object) transmission, and flexible PDO (Process Data Object) mapping, with support for frame ID configuration and low-byte-first data formatting for reliable data exchange.
