Communication Module Triconex 4351B Version 10.5.4
Description
The Triconex 4351B Version 10.5.4 is a communication module designed for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS), engineered to enable secure, reliable data exchange between Triconex systems and external devices or platforms. Certified to meet SIL 2 safety requirements, it is suitable for medium-risk applications in critical industries including oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation. This module supports multiple communication protocols, including Modbus, DNP3, and OPC, and features interface options such as Ethernet ports, RS-232/485 serial interfaces, and optional fiber Ethernet ports with MT-RJ connectors for 62.5/125u fiber cables. It operates on a 24V DC input (±10%), with a maximum power consumption of 5W, and offers 8 or 16 relay outputs, each capable of driving up to 1A at 24V DC; outputs are electrically isolated with a 500V DC isolation voltage to prevent damage from electrical transients. Built with redundant configurations and voting algorithms, it ensures high system reliability, and its hot-swappable design allows for module replacement without system shutdown to minimize downtime. Technical specifications include an adaptive communication rate of 10/100Mbps, an operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, a storage temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, dimensions of 175mm x 100mm x 50mm, and a weight of approximately 3.18kg.
