Description

TheABB DSRF180is achassis-mounted fiber optic communication moduledesigned forABB AC 800M control systems. It provideshigh-speed, noise-resistant data exchangeover multimode fiber using theAF100 protocol, making it ideal for redundant controller synchronization and remote I/O expansion. The DSRF180 serves adual function: Synchronizes logic and I/O imagesbetween primary and backup PM86x controllers for bumpless switchover. Acts as afiber master station, connecting up to 8 remote S800 I/O stations. Equipped withST-type fiber connectors, a transmission speed of1.544 Mbps, and a maximum range of2 km, it is suitable forlarge-scale industrial environments, including high-EMI and hazardous zones.
