EGP13P Woodward Mechanical Governor

Description

The Woodward EGP13P Governor is part of the EGB series (EGB-10P / EGB-13P / EGB-35P). These governors are widely used with diesel, dual-fuel, gasoline engines, and gas/steam turbines. The EGP13P provides 13 lb-ft (≈18 N·m) work capacity, making it suitable for medium-sized prime movers. It is designed to work with Woodward analog or digital electronic controls that send a proportional 20-160 mA signal to the actuator. During normal operation, the electronic control regulates fuel. If the electronic signal is lost, the mechanical ballhead governor automatically takes over, shutting down or safely controlling the prime mover.
