The Emerson DeltaV KL2001X1-BA1 CHARMs Smart Logic Solver is a compact, US-manufactured module designed for integration with the Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS). As a key component of the DeltaV system, it supports high-speed network communication to connect seamlessly with other system components, enabling unified process control and data sharing.
With a compact form factor of approximately 15cm x 15cm x 4cm and a weight of 0.36 kg, this module is optimized for space-efficient installation in control cabinets. It operates on +24VDC power supplied directly by the DeltaV system, drawing a nominal current of 325 mA.
Engineered for rugged industrial environments, the KL2001X1-BA1 offers broad environmental resilience: it functions reliably across a temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, withstands 10g, 11ms half-sine wave shock, and tolerates vibration from 2 to 13.2 Hz at 1mm peak-to-peak and 13.2 to 150 Hz at 0.7g. It also complies with ISA-S71.04-1985 G3 air contamination standards and operates in relative humidity levels from 5% to 95% without condensation.
