EPRO | PR9268/301-000 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor
Description
The EPRO | PR9268/301-000 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor is an industrial electrodynamic vibration sensor designed for precision measurement and monitoring. Operating on an electrodynamic principle, it consists of a seismic mass, spring-supported measuring coil, and circular permanent magnet; when the housing vibrates, the measuring coil moves axially within the magnetic field, generating a voltage signal directly proportional to vibration velocity. Key features include compact size, high reliability, non-contact measurement, and a rugged construction suitable for hazardous environments, with an operating temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius. It offers three selectable sensitivity levels, and its high-output, low-impedance measuring coil delivers strong anti-interference performance. Technical specifications include a natural frequency range of 4-13Hz (model-dependent), measurement frequency ranges of 10-1000Hz and 4-1000Hz, maximum measurable amplitude of 3mm peak-to-peak, and an internal resistance of 100k ohms. Powered by -24V, it provides a linear output voltage range of -4 to -20V, a broad output range of -1 to -22V, and a symmetric measurement range output of -12V, with a 15ms response time. Ideal for turbomachinery including fans, compressors, gearboxes, pumps, and coal mills, it measures physical parameters such as shaft vibration, shaft displacement, clearance, and eccentricity, and can integrate directly with compatible turbine monitoring and protection systems.
