Description
HIMA F8650E Central Module is a core control component for industrial safety and automation systems, closely aligned with the HIMA F8650X CPU Module from the third-generation PES platform. It features a dual microprocessor redundant architecture, designed to deliver fault tolerance and ensure safe operation even during single-point failures. The module meets strict international safety standards, holding SIL 3/Cat. 4 certification, making it ideal for high-reliability industrial sites requiring robust safety instrumented systems (SIS). Key technical specifications include a 24 V DC power supply with an input range of 0 to 55 V DC, and processor options of dual 32-bit Intel 386EX running at 25 MHz or ARM Cortex-A9 running at 1.2 GHz. Each processor is equipped with 1 MB Flash-EPROM for the operating system, 1 MB Flash-EPROM for user programs, and 1 MB SRAM for data storage. It offers 8 digital input and 8 digital output channels, configurable for analog I/O, and supports multiple communication protocols including Modbus, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP, and Safety-Ethernet. With a wide operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, DIN-Rail mounting, and dimensions of approximately 150 mm × 100 mm × 50 mm, it is built to withstand harsh industrial environments. Additional features include flexible I/O configuration, remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, and high compatibility with existing control networks.
