The FASTBUS Module FM211 is part of Bachmann’s Fx210 series, developed alongside FM212, FS211/N, and FS212/N to support long-distance distributed sub-devices with minimal signal delay. As a key component in this series, it offers flexible connectivity options, with 1 or 2 fiber optic (FO) interfaces available for both master and slave configurations. Designed for reliable distributed systems, it enables deployment of up to 15 distributed sub-devices, making it suitable for large-scale, spread-out industrial setups. The module supports varied transmission distances: up to 40 meters with POF cables, 150 meters with HCS cables, and 180 meters with special HCS cables, catering to different site layout needs.
