FBM202 P0926EQ Invensys Foxboro Thermocouple/mV Input Module
Description
The FBM202 P0926EQ is a thermocouple/mV input module from the Invensys Foxboro I/A Series, designed to receive thermocouple or millivolt signals, convert them to digital signals for processing and transmission, and support high-precision industrial temperature and low-level signal monitoring. Key specifications include 8 isolated input channels, with support for multiple thermocouple types (K, J, T, E, B, R, S, N, etc.) and millivolt signals. It offers dual precision options: typical accuracy of ±0.1% reading ±1 degree Celsius (depending on thermocouple type), and high-precision performance of ±0.03% full scale ±24 microvolts.
Critical features include full isolation between channels, and between power supply and channels, built-in cold junction temperature compensation (CJC), and thermocouple burnout detection for enhanced reliability. Each channel has an input signal update rate of 50 milliseconds. The module is available in two operating temperature ranges: standard version for 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius, and extended version for -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, with an IP65 protection rating. It supports power supply options of 110V AC, 230V AC, or 24V, and measures 4.2 x 4.5 x 6 inches (10.7 x 11.4 x 15.2 centimeters). It transmits data via Foundation Fieldbus, is compatible with all Foundation Fieldbus devices and industrial components, mounts on a Foxboro FBM channel baseplate, and is ideal for applications in thermal process monitoring, chemical, power, and general industrial automation systems.
