Description

The FC-PDB-ARTF05 Honeywell Safety Manager A.R.T Module is a user-programmable, modular, microprocessor-based safety system designed for industrial control applications, with a 4848 form factor. As an integral component of the Honeywell Experion™ PKS system, it seamlessly integrates with PlantScape or operates independently, serving as a foundational functional safety solution to protect personnel, plant assets, and the environment while optimizing operational continuity. This module executes a wide range of high-integrity process control and safety instrument functions, including high-integrity process control, burner/boiler management systems, process protection and emergency shutdown, turbine and compressor safety protection, fire and gas detection systems, and pipeline monitoring. It features a 16-bit ADC (analog-to-digital converter) with configurable 250 samples per second per channel, 3000VAC isolation between channels, and 1500VAC isolation between power and signal. Optional support for HART protocol and Foundation Fieldbus (with external gateway) is available, with an IP20 protection rating for rack mounting, meeting NEMA TS2 and IEC 61131-2 standards. Operating temperature ranges from -20 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius, and it holds ATEX Zone 2, UL/cUL Class I Div 2, CE, and FCC certifications, suitable for applications in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and energy power industries.
