Foxboro FBM237 P0916CC 0 to 20 mA Output Module
Description
The Foxboro FBM237 P0916CC 0 to 20 mA Output Module is a component of the Foxboro I/A series, designed for industrial process control applications, including harsh environments. The FBM237 segment functions as a digital-to-analog signal converter, translating digital signals to 0 to 20 mA DC analog outputs to control field devices such as actuators, valves, and motors. It features 8 independent, electrically isolated 0 to 20 mA DC analog output channels, with a resolution of 12 bits or higher, ±0.1% accuracy, 500 ohm load capacity, and 2500 Vrms isolation voltage. It operates on 24 VDC power with a maximum power draw of less than 20 W, and has a metal housing with screw or plug-in connections, supporting communication protocols including HART, Modbus TCP, Profinet, and EtherNet/IP. Its operating temperature range is -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, storage temperature range is -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, and it tolerates 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, with dimensions of 170 mm x 105 mm x 32 mm. The P0916CC segment is a compact modular unit for the Foxboro I/A series, offering up to 32 analog current/voltage I/O channels, 24 VDC input, 0 to 10 VDC output, ±0.15 FS accuracy, 16 MB SDRAM and 32 MB Flash memory, maximum 8.5 W power consumption, IP67 protection rating, and Modbus TCP/IP communication. It operates in temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, with dimensions of 100 mm x 50 mm x 30 mm, and integrates seamlessly into existing industrial control systems for applications in chemical, oil and gas, power, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and water and wastewater treatment sectors.
