Description

The GE FANUC D25-0157-000002 Control and Monitoring Device is a second-generation “Super IED” (Intelligent Electronic Device) integrated with substation measurement, status monitoring, control, and communication functions. It serves multiple on-site roles, including programmable logic controller, substation LAN node, IED and switchgear-level controller, billing-grade meter (uncertified), power quality monitor, fault and event (waveform) recorder, and remote terminal unit (RTU). Housed in a metal chassis, it features core components of hardware, software, and communication modules, with front-panel LCD indicators providing real-time operation and status information. The device supports flexible input and output configurations, including AC or DC analog inputs and control outputs. For connectivity, it offers dual RS-232 serial ports or dual Ethernet LAN ports (DNP/UDP/IP), and can connect to over 75 different IEDs via traditional serial interfaces and an expanded interface library. It supports time synchronization and maintenance via ConfigPro, ProLogic, and WESMAINT, and all features comply with IEEE, IEC, and CE Mark quality standards. Its unified design reduces wiring complexity, and it can retrieve data from legacy and third-party devices, transfer data to host systems, perform primary equipment diagnostics, and scale to meet future substation physical and functional requirements. A hardware enable/disable switch locks out all physical control and digital output requests when set to disable mode.
