Description

The GE FANUC IC200MDL640 Discrete Input Module is a component of the VersaMax I/O platform, designed for industrial automation systems. It features 16 discrete input points organized into two groups of 8 points, supporting both positive and negative logic input configurations: positive logic draws current from the input device and returns it to the common line, while negative logic draws current from the common terminal and returns it to the input device.

This module operates with an input voltage range of 0 to 30 VDC, with a nominal rating of 24 VDC; it accepts on-state voltages of 15 to 30 VDC and off-state voltages of 0 to 5 VDC, with a maximum input impedance of 10 kOhms. Powered exclusively by the backplane, it requires no external power supply, and has a backplane current draw of 50 mA at 5 V. Key functional features include software-configurable input filter times of 0ms, 1.0ms (default), or 7.0ms, with corresponding total response times of 0.5ms, 1.5ms, and 7.5ms.
