GE FANUC IC200MDL740 VersaMax Output Module
Description
The GE FANUC IC200MDL740 is a discrete output module belonging to the VersaMax series, designed for industrial automation load switching and power supply tasks. It features 16 discrete output points, each supporting positive logic or source-type discrete digital signals to independently control connected loads. Key technical specifications include an operating voltage range of 10.2 to 30 volts DC, with a nominal voltage of 24 volts DC; operation at 12 volts DC requires upgrading to the IC200MDL740B or higher version. Each output point delivers 0.5 amps of continuous current, with a surge capacity of 5 amps for 20 milliseconds, and supports 120VAC standard loads. The module has fast response times: 0.2 milliseconds for “on” state and 1.0 millisecond for “off” state, and its 5-volt output power consumption does not exceed 45 milliamps. It provides robust isolation of 250VAC/1500VDC between the 16 channels and between channels and the backplane bus, blocking electrical interference for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. Integrated status indicators include an “OK” light for backplane power, an “FLD PWR” light for field power, and individual LED lights for each output point to display on/off status. The module is compatible with IC200CHS series plug-in relay bases and is ideal for distributed I/O control scenarios such as switching solenoids, contactors, and indicator lights in manufacturing settings.
