GE FANUC IC695ACC400 Rx3i Energy Pack
Description
GE FANUC IC695ACC400 Rx3i Energy Pack is a dedicated power backup module designed for the GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystem platform. It is exclusively compatible with specific RX3i CPUs including CPE302, CPE305, and CPE310, providing critical temporary power during main supply failures. Its core function is to deliver sufficient power to connected CPUs during outages, allowing the CPU to transfer user programs and data from random-access memory (RAM) to non-volatile flash memory, preventing data loss, improving system availability, and reducing unplanned downtime.
Key technical specifications include a 50V operating voltage and 50KHZ output frequency. The module mounts to the side of a power supply unit, and connects to the CPU’s bottom port via the IC695CBL001 power cable, available in 3-meter or 0.91-meter lengths. This cable features a Samtec PID1-040D-K connector, 300VAC rated tinned copper conductors with PVC insulation, crimp contacts rated for 3.8 amps and 95 degrees Celsius, and a nylon 66 crimp housing. The energy pack has a typical 10-year expected lifespan when installed in environments with operating temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, and carries certification compliant with the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
