The GE FANUC IC695CRU320 PACSystems Rx3i Redundancy CPU is a programmable automation controller (PAC) belonging to the PACSystems Rx3i series, designed for high-reliability industrial automation applications. This redundancy processor supports hot standby and redundant configurations, with fast switchover capabilities: maximum 1 logic scan and minimum 3.133 milliseconds switchover time to minimize downtime during primary CPU faults, ensuring continuous system operation. Powered by a 1GHz Celeron M processor, it delivers high-performance processing for complex control tasks, and supports flexible configuration with local and remote expansion racks, plus compatibility with Series 90-30 I/O product lines. It offers up to 64MB battery-backed RAM and 64MB non-volatile flash user memory, and features 2 serial communication ports supporting RS232 and RS485 standards, along with compatibility for multiple protocols including Ethernet, Modbus, and Profibus for seamless device integration. The unit occupies 2 slots, mounts via Rx3i PCI or Series 90-30 serial backplane bus, and operates in temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Note that it ships in an open enclosure, so installation in a protected housing is recommended for harsh industrial environments with high humidity, dust, debris, or water.
