Description

The Honeywell 10006/2/1 Diagnostic and Battery Module (DBM) is a dedicated interface component designed for the FSC system, offering a low-cost solution for system diagnostics. Equipped with a front-facing display, it delivers clear fault messages identified by diagnostic programs, including the faulty module type, rack number, and position within the system, enabling quick fault localization. A key feature is its integrated real-time clock (RTC), which provides accurate current date and time; this data is visible on the front display and can be accessed by connected applications. The module also monitors and displays critical system metrics, including readings from two independent temperature sensors in the FSC system’s central section, 5Vdc voltage levels, and battery voltage. During configuration, users can set high and low alarm and trigger points for temperature measurements via the “Configure FSC System” program. For data retrieval, front-panel switches allow users to access system information (up switch) or diagnostic information (down switch), with multiple operations required to view all available data.
