Description

The Honeywell FC-TSDO-0824 Digital Output Module (also referenced as FC-SDO-0824, version V1.3) is a fault-safe digital output unit designed for safety-critical industrial applications, including organic chemical, biomedical, and environmental protection systems. It features compact dimensions of 120mm x 76mm x 32mm, with a metal housing rated at NEMA 4X and IP66 for robust protection, and supports DIN rail mounting for easy integration into control cabinets. Operating on 24V DC input power, it functions reliably in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. Equipped with 8 independent digital output channels, each delivers 24V DC at 550mA, capable of driving loads up to 13W, including resistive and inductive types; each output includes a suppression diode for inductive load protection. Key safety features include fault-safe output functionality that automatically shuts down outputs during power loss or system faults, and a built-in watchdog timer that resets outputs if no valid signal is received within a set period, ensuring system stability. It communicates via Profibus DP interface, and is compatible with Honeywell SafetyManager 4000, 5000, and 6000 safety controllers, as well as third-party controllers meeting EN61508 SIL2 or SIL3 standards.
