Description
Invensys TRICONEX 3625A Digital I/O Module is a high-performance digital output module engineered exclusively for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). As a core component of the TRICONEX 3000 series, it leverages a Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) architecture to deliver exceptional reliability, making it ideal for high-hazard industries such as oil and chemical processing, where it supports critical functions like safety interlocking and emergency shutdown.
This module is designed to receive digital signals from SIS and drive a range of field actuators including solenoid valves and relays, enabling precise control of device on/off states and industrial process operations. Key electrical specifications include a nominal output voltage of 24VDC, with an operating voltage range of 16-32VDC. Each channel supports a maximum continuous output current of 1.7A, can withstand a 7A surge current for 10ms, has a minimum load current of 10mA, and a maximum leakage current of only 4mA, ensuring compatibility with diverse industrial loads.
With 1500VDC channel-to-channel isolation and opto-isolation design, it prevents field signal interference and ensures stable signal transmission, while consuming less than 13W of power for low energy use.
