Invensys TRICONEX 3700 Analog Input Module
Description
The Invensys TRICONEX 3700 Analog Input Module is a specialized component of the TRICONEX card series, designed for integration with the EcoStruxure Triconex safety system, a high-integrity platform with over 1 billion documented hours of fault-free operation. Certified by TÜV Rheinland for Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3) applications, this module delivers reliable, high-performance data capture for critical industrial processes. Key technical specifications include 32 differential, DC-coupled analog input points, with a voltage range of 0 to 5 VDC. As part of the Triconex system’s high-availability product line (including Tricon, Tricon CX, Trident, and Tri-GP platforms), it supports uninterrupted operation, helping to extend plant uptime and reduce operational risk. The module uses triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture, where three independent circuits measure input signals asynchronously, transmit data to main processors, and use median value selection to ensure data accuracy and system resilience. It is engineered for use in high-hazard industries including oil refining, petrochemicals, oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and pharmaceuticals, supporting critical control applications such as emergency shutdown (ESD), fire and gas (F&G) monitoring, and burner management systems (BMS).
