Description

The IS220YDIAS1AK is a discrete contact input/output I/O module from GE Fanuc, part of the Mark VIe Speedtronic series. Designed for industrial automation systems, its core functions include collecting and processing digital signals from external devices such as switches, buttons, and sensors, then transmitting these signals to control systems, as well as sending control system output signals to actuators to drive equipment operation.

Key technical specifications include 32 channels of discrete input, an input voltage range of 24V DC to 32V DC, and relay output signal type. It operates in temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, with a protection rating of IP20, and meets UL and CE certification standards. The module has a rated power of 200W, rated current of 8A, and supports communication via RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces.

Constructed with a universal processor board and a discrete input-specific acquisition board, it connects 1 or 2 I/O Ethernet networks to a discrete input terminal board, supporting up to 24 contact inputs and terminal board-specific feedback signals across three voltage levels. It features dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports, a 3-pin power input, a DC-37 pin connector for discrete signal input, and LED indicators for visual diagnostics. Note that different versions of the YDIAS1A I/O pack cannot be mixed on the same T-type terminal board.
